Mission Statement

The Pakistan Pediatric Association is committed to the improvement of the health and well-being of children of Pakistan and to the academic and social advancement of pediatricians. As an association, our mission is to achieve optimum health, growth, and development of all the children of Pakistan irrespective of their diversified backgrounds, and promote their protection from child abuse and neglect.
Aims and objectives for which the Association is established are:

To work for the betterment of children

To promote study and advancement of the science and practice of pediatrics

To bring together pediatricians and others interested in the filed of child life and health to encourage good will and co-operation
For the attainment and furtherance of the aims and objects set forth above the Association may:

Create or assist in creating branches of the association

To promote study and advancement of the science and practice of pediatrics

Arrange educational, social, cultural and other activities for the study and discussion of matters pertaining to child life and health. Bring out useful information materials in the field of child life and health

Conduct educational campaigns among the masses of Pakistan

Promote research in the field of pediatrics through grants by establishing scholarships, donations or rewards in such manner as may from time to time be determined by the Association

Co-operate or enter into arrangement with other Associations, bodies: national or international

Honour pediatricians, and workers for their exceptional contribution in any field of child life and health

Consider and express views on policy matters, laws ETC. proposed/promulgated in Pakistan in connection with child life and health and medical profession in general

Receive acquire and maintain or dispose off funds, property and assets for the Association as may be determined by the Association from time to time

To do all such other lawful acts as may incidental
